We would like to thank our amazing customers and students for making our last six years so successful. At this time please be aware that we are booking 12 weeks out for grooming appointments. As always, we suggest pre-booking your appointments for the year as space is limited.
At this time we are accepting new clients.
We will be closed the following days for conventions and competitions:

At the Cleveland Grooming Academy, we are focused on providing high quality grooming lessons, while always putting the health and safety of a loved pet first. Our 300 hour - 10 week course offers the longest and most comprehensive grooming curriculum available in Northern Ohio. This ensures students walk out confident and with the set skills they need to succeed. All courses are registered and approved by the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools.

WE ARE HAPPILY ALLOWING CLIENTS INSIDE OUR FACILITY
-Customers may choose to wear face masks during drop off and pick up.
-Please only two (2) customers inside the lobby at one time. This allows space for social distancing.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS AND PRECAUTIONS:
-Unvaccinated students are required to wear a face mask while inside the building.
-Tables have been spaced 6 feet apart to ensure social distancing.
-Hand sanitizer is available at every grooming station for students to use.
-Students are required to do a self assessment before coming to class every day. Any student showing symptoms or experiencing a fever will be told to stay home.
-All cages and equipment are thoroughly disinfected each day.
At the Cleveland Grooming Academy, we provide the highest quality lessons and take pride in our name following students throughout their new career.
A passion for not only animals, but also teaching is what sets the Cleveland Grooming Academy apart from competitor schools. A solid foundation of correct skills, safety standards, and premium equipment is what will set students on the path to a successful, lucrative career. You will start lessons with basic dog handling and safety, then work your way up to grooming on your own. By having class time be 100% hands on, all students get the real feel of what being a groomer is all about.

I took my skittish 1 year old dog yesterday to be washed, brushed out, nails clipped, ears cleaned and trimmed! I had a good feeling when I first walked in. Dogs were being groomed and groomers were pleasant and friendly and the pups didn't seems to be minding it at all. I felt ok about leaving him in their hands. Arielle even sent pictures and an update during the day to tell me (and show me!) how great everything was going! I picked up Snoopy 3 hours lady and he looked awesome without taking off too much hair! His spirits were good where he was super stressed after just getting nail cut elsewhere! We recently took our doodle to the Cleveland Grooming Academy for the first time and were over the moon with the quality and value we received! When we dropped him off we were greeted by a student who asked thoughtful questions and took the time to really listen to what we were looking for. I cannot tell you how much we appreciated that!! This grooming was the first time he actually looked the way we wanted him to!
After his grooming, they took the time to educate us and explain more about his coat and why it gets matted so easily which we so appreciated!! They also recommended a grooming schedule that will help keep him from getting matted in the future.
The discount is definitely an amazing perk but the quality is also sky high! Our little guy walked out so happy and looking the best he ever has with his new favorite bandana :) Thanks a million CGA!

I took my pet Remy to the Cleveland Grooming Academy and had a wonderful experience. The staff at the salon was very friendly when I walked in the door. The facility was very clean and looked very efficient. As my pet was to be used as instruction for the students the instructor, Arielle, made sure to keep a close eye on them and teach them the cut of the breed. Arielle was very helpful when I asked questions about the cut that I wanted for my pet and was sure to confirm the decision with me multiple times. I was highly impressed with the cut that I had received for it was worth far more than I was charged. The students did an amazing job and I will be sure to tell my friends/family about this location. I can't wait to go back!

This place is amazing! My dog is a Australian Shepherd collie mix so he's basically a big hairball! He has layers and layers of fur. They always do a wonderful job and I always get an appointment whenever I need one! And the price, you can't beat it anywhere, as a matter of fact I think they should charge way more than what they do.. but that's just because they do such wonderful work. So I always tip them to let them know how wonderful they did! I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are looking for somewhere that does it all for an amazing price.. a price that you can't beat anywhere! And a place that will take good care of your pet, then look no further you have found your place I promise you will not be disappointed!

We've had such tremendous service that even since moving further away, we still make the trip out whenever our giant and mini schnauzers need groomed. Not only do they do a fantastic job on perfecting the schnauzer cut, but their prices, attitudes, and customer service are excellent.
